Our family stay-cation!

Hughey took July 12-16 off of work so we could do a stay-cation as a family. We had so much fun! Each day we planned something that the kids would like to do. The weekend before Hughey went on a hiking trip with a friend so Monday we stayed home and played. Tuesday we met my friend Kara and her family at Point Defiance Zoo. The zoo has a amazing aquarium with huge sharks the boys really thought that was cool! Wednesday we took Caiden to get his first haircut and we walked Downtown Edmond's. Thursday we rode the Ducks in Seattle with my parents, my sister Jamie and her boyfriend Austin. It was a lot of fun! Caiden was bored until we got into the water, then he was excited! Friday we went to Country Village in Bothell. There are a lot of fun things to do there. We rode on a train (Caiden calls it a Tay Tay), bought toys at the toy store (thank you Grandma Sonia for the gift card) and we went the The Village Bean. The Village Bean is a kid friendly coffee shop. It has a bunch of toys for the kids to play with while the parents sit and drink coffee...its so fun!

We are definitely going to do a stay-cation again next year. It worked out so great with the kids and we had a great time. It was nice that we were able to plan everything around the kids schedule. The boys had a hard time when it was time for Hughey to go back to work. We all enjoyed having him home!

So I dont forget...

I have a bunch of posts I want to do but havent found the time yet, I will update soon. Until then there are a few things I dont want to forget.

Landon started crawling on July 30th and today he started clapping, so cute! Also at 8 months old he started to do "So Big" and put both his hands in the air. On July 26th we had to take Landon to the emergency room because he was having difficulty breathing (I will post more about this later). At 7 months old Landon got his first tooth. He now has 4.

Caiden has started to do somersaults (on July 30th) which has been really fun! At around 18 months old Caiden started putting words together sometimes he put 3 words together. He has quite a vocabulary! Caiden is now climbing and running like crazy!
